Nice location by the park entrance and able to have campfires at all hours.

If you're one that camps in their vehicle then be aware half the parking spots for the campsites Are Not Level.

Stayed there only one night. Though the campground was good.

Hodgdon Meadow Campground was a good experience, as there are some nice campsites available (001-007, 060-063, 075-077, 085-086, 089); however, there is significant variability in campsite quality, that is, there are a number of campsites that are far less desirable due to crowding together and significant slope/minimal flat terrain. The suggested campsite numbers listed above have a vehicle parking area at the campsite. Many of the other campsites have a parking area from which you carry your equipment to the campsite, so that your tent is not necessarily near your vehicle. Rangers were very knowledgeable and helpful, bathrooms were cleaned every day, and the campground was reasonably quiet at night. It is located at the north entrance to YNP on a road that is off the main road (120) coming into the park, so there was no significant road noise. Lots of bird activity and ground mammals, which is enjoyable. It is about 25 miles from Yosemite Valley, so a bit of a drive, but much more peaceful due to reduced activity.
