Nice campground, clean bathrooms and about 45 minutes from Yosemite Valley. My only issue with Hogdon Meadows and other Yosemite campsites is the lack of showers. Its been this way for decades. You have to go to Curry Village and get a shower (and sometimes requires a wait), but sometimes you don't get a chance and can start smelling bad...I do like the proximity to Rush Creek Lodge - you can get good coffee 2 minutes away from the campground.

We were VERY glad to snag a site at all, so were grateful to have had the opportunity to visit Yosemite. That said, we were not clear from our website reservation experience whether we were actually legal in our site which said tents only while we were in a 20 self-contained van. But the guy at the entrance booth said we were ok to go in. Honestly though, the campsites were REALLY close to each other. People were well-behaved and quiet enough as the evening progressed but there were just too many. I never used the restroom facilities.

The campsites are really close together. People (including myself) have to walk across other peoples campsites in order to get to the bathrooms and our cars. It is otherwise a beautiful campground. A great option if you cant secure a campsite in the Valley.

It's a very organized and clean campground, people respect quiet hours, and it's not far from Yosemite Valley, which should be a 35-minute drive away! We loved it and recommend it.

Nice campground, our site was close to the restroom so convenient but heavy pedestrian traffic. Nice restrooms and dumpsters close by. Our dog enjoyed walking the loop on leash and we were happy the campground was 35 minutes from Yosemite Village.

right by the entrance to the park, very easy to reach much of the rest of the park with a car. highly recommend.

We love staying at this campsite! Not in the valley so avoids the congestion. Just about 30-40 min drive into the valley if wanted. Lots of water activity right out the gate at Rainbow bridge. Campsites are spacious and not right on top of each other. We had lots of shade and a clean site.
