Great campsite within the park. If you have a campsite that counts as a reservation to enter the park on those specific days.

Great campsite but could be more accurate with how level the tent pads are.

I enjoyed my three nights at this campground. Sites are pretty much right next to each other, but my neighbors were considerate. My tent was pitched on the outer border so I just had woods on one side. Despite being in a walk-in site, my car was only around 60 feet away, which was convenient. There are two restroom buildings that were ok but nothing special. I took a shower at Housekeeping Camp one day (Curry Village also has showers). In mid-May there was no staff present except a ranger who stopped by the first night to check me in, but she was friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a drive to the valley and even farther to Glacier Point, but well worth the effort. Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is easily accessible from this location and has some awesome waterfalls to see. I would have liked to drive Tioga Road but it was still closed for the winter. Overall I was happy I camped here and would recommend it to anyone not needing much in the way of luxury or privacy.

Great campsite, very chill and relaxing atmosphere. Only complaint is the sites are a bit close to one another.

Sites not well defined. All I saw were sloped and had no good flat spot for a tent.

When they say the site is level don’t believe it. Their determination of level is very relative.

The campground was very nice, peaceful and clean. Not difficult to find our campsite and the staff was very friendly. The restrooms were also very clean and there’s water to wash dishes, rinse veggies, etc. This campground is convenient as it sits about 35-40 mins away from Yosemite Valley. I loved camping here and will definitely come back.

The campsite wasn't quite as big as we'd hoped, we had two tents and had to be creative where we put them. There was a big, semi-filled-in hole in the ground where we think the fire pit used to be, but the fire pit is now further in and taking up space where a tent could have gone. The walk down wasn't far but there wasn't always much parking and it was a fairly steep walk down at times. Bathrooms weren't in the best shape and did not provide handsoap.

We were lucky to get a campsite that was relatively on a level ground. At least from far, some of the sites looked like they were on an uncomfortable amount inclined ground. We had problem sleeping the first night because of the incline but we were able to adjust our tent the next day for a good nights sleep. In any case, our experience at the campground was generally good. The hosts were welcoming and checked up on us every night. The campsite is somewhat equidistant from both Yosemite Valley and Tuolumne Meadows. Hence, we managed to also venture into the Meadows area which is simply amazing. The whole scene seemed to be lifted from a paining. Note that nearest grocery store is at least 20 mins out of the national park, and the campsite does not have firewood for sale. Finally, the cleanliness of the bathrooms was acceptable to us.

Beautiful view from our campsite, in one direction. Camp sites were really close, access to bathrooms was awkwardyou walk through campsites that we assumed they purposely dont book. No obvious signs to the trail. More ants than any other sites weve stayed at. Some loud campers we wish were told to keep quiet after hours but never really see camp hosts around quiet hours (have seen some in the valley on golf carts before but not consistently).

I don't understand how some people can not to like this camping, everything was perfect, clean, quiet, but the most important thing that we got the spot ! While almost all other camps were full. Yes, you need to drive about 30 minutes to the Yosemite Valley, but it's a trip, enjoy the road, it's a part of the trip and while you drive to Valley, you can stop by and enjoy an incredible view and waterfalls ! The spots in the campground are a bit close to each other, but it's not unique only for this campground, when choosing the spot, check the map and choose spots close to the forest side.
