The rangers were friendly, the campsite (32) was in such a good spot, and having flushable toilets was so nice. Not a bad drive from everything in the rest of the park. Crane Flat gas station was only 8 miles away. Overall excellent time and will re-book in the future!

The campsite was one of my favorite things about Yosemite. This campsite had huge sequoia trees scattered all throughout it. Even though the campsite had a lot of people in it, we still felt very secluded. The campsite was clean and well run. The host that welcomed us was super knowledgeable and helped us know what to do first. I would definitely enjoy another stay at this campsite.

For those who are familiar with Hodgdon Meadow, campsites here tend to be a bit cramped. This was not the case for this site; it's a little more secluded, quiet in the nights and near a short hike to Hodgdon Meadows. It's a hike to site, so the vehicle will be far away from the actual campsite, the restrooms are also far away. The site is slightly sloped, there are no totally flat areas (which is the case for most of the campsites at Hodgdon). Most of the site is shaded, so it's on the cooler side. Be warned, it is pretty close to the group sites, which tend to be on the noisier side, nonetheless when we camped here the group sites weren't excessively loud. Overall, pretty satisfied with our camping experience here.

It was fun to camp in the snow at Hogdon Meadow. As it was before the season, only one bathroom was open. It was challenging to find a pathway to the bathroom that didn't cut through someone's campsite. But the site was peaceful and remote. It was great to camp at Yosemite in February!

When we arrived, no Ranger was there, so we emtered our name and Dates in the list provided. When we arrived at the pre-booked and designated campground, someone else was already there. We then build our tent in the neighbour campground, which was free in the end, and even a bit more flat, so everything was fine in the end

Lovely and quiet campground. It is quite far from the valley, so I highly recommend also spending one or two nights in the valley if you want to do the popular trails. But if you are looking for some peace and quiet, and if you want to feel like you are truly in nature (as opposed to a crowded campground), this is a great choice, especially if you manage to get one of the walk-to campsites near the edge of the campground. The infrastructure is not luxurious by any means: there are no showers and there are only a few spots to get potable water on the campground, but all of that is quickly forgiven given how spacious and calm it is. If you are looking for a nice and mellow hike nearby (away from the crowds in the valley), try the Carlon Falls trail.

Loved the campground, very small, cute, and beautiful. Unfortunately to get to our site, we basically had to walk directly through another campers site which felt rude and was uncomfortable to do so. It would be much better if there was another way to get to our site.
