Wanted to love this campground, but unfortunately was a little disappointed. . Site wasn't cleaned before we checked in and loop bathroom did not have water, so we didn't have a bathroom close. Other than that, it's a beautiful, quiet place to stay away from the crowds in the Valley.

Loved this campground. It was a little offset from the extremely touristy parts of the park, I would say about 30 minutes from the destinations and camp store. Right across from the gas station if you needed it. It was very organized as you were greeted at the entrance by campground attendants, and then you checked out in the same spot when you left. The campground itself looked like it was brand new, and the attendant told me it had been closed for a few years for snow and renovations, but the renovations made it look like we were one of the first campers there. The bear boxes and picnic tables seemed brand new. There was also a ton of recently knocked down timber, which they allowed you to pick up firewood from the area, which was different from a lot of campsites we had been to. We were at site 110, which was the corner of the first loop. It was a good site as the right site didnt have a site next to it, just a meadow! It was a little far from the bathrooms and water, but not too bad for not having people to your site. I would also mention that if you are in a sprinter van or plan on sleeping in your car I would really encourage you to have a tent available. The only level places in the whole campground were where you could pitch your tent, and all the parking spots I saw were on a hill. We were sleeping in a tent, but the campsite across from us was a kid in a sprinter van, and even with his blocks was not able to make the van even close to level! We would definitely stay in this campground again and highly recommend.

I went solo, but the place was super clean, i had plenty of space to set up camp, scenery is very beautiful, super relaxing trip, i hiked all the way up to upper yosemite falls, which is very challenging but such a beautiful view from the top, and also did top of nevada fall which is part of the mist trail, also very beautiful but definitely easier than upper fall. Overall experience was very good. there are grocery shops and places to eat in case you want to something quick to eat. Whole yosemite valley was super clean, even tho it was summer i didnt feel it was that crowded. i had such an amazing weekend
