This is a great campground. It is a beautiful area, and, for being a relatively large campground, it is quiet. There are some good hiking trails nearby. I like that fact that the campground is a ways away from all the commotion in Yosemite valley but close enough that you can enjoy the valley as well.

Snagged a last minute cancellation and were pleasantly surprised! This campground is much quieter than the Pines campgrounds in the Valley, and the location of 106 was very nice--decent space from neighbors, trees and rocks between you and the sites behind.
A great option for sunrise/sunset trips to Glacier Point. It was still quite chilly in early August, much colder than the valley--got down in the 40s overnight, so we wore layers and had lots of blankets for tent camping.
No firewood on site, so bring some from the Valley or collect wood.

Great place for camping. A little far from Yosemite village and no shower
