Great campground. Stunning views, VERY clean and functional bathrooms. Nice staff. So clean and well-kept. Bison in your campsite are optional. :)

During our stay in June 2024, Mammoth Springs Campground impressed us. Despite being fully occupied, the atmosphere remained pleasant and respectful among campers. Generous spacing between campsites provided privacy, and the view of the hillside across from the campground was both peaceful and mesmerizing. The morning birdsong at sunrise added to the natural charm. Additionally, the shared bathrooms were clean and conveniently accessible.Overall, Mammoth Springs Campground is a great choice for families seeking a tranquil outdoor experience.

Despite being smack dab in the middle of the tent/car camp area (site 78 - with a nice shade tree), as well as being near the highway, the site was generally quite, sans one annoying neighbor shouting at their dog incessantly. The site, table and cooking grate were reasonably clean and level. The restrooms were clean and more developed than I expected (flush toilets). Staff, and most of the neighboring campers were very pleasant. We didn't get that vibe of being overtly supervised/policed. If you can get your reservation in early enough, the nicest sites appear to be along the periphery, especially on the north end of the campground.

The campground and facilities were very clean, the campsites had plenty of space between them, and the staff was friendly.
