Mammoth Campground is a bit strained on facilities, but otherwise an excellent area. More tent only areas ought be created to separate the true camper from the noise makers. Dogs should simply never be allowed - we all love dogs, but they are not appropriate in these parks.

Very nice tent spots, very clean restrooms, deer all in the park near the tent spots. The only complaint that I would have is that people would not adhere to the posted speed limit signs.

Excellent campground, it is on the side of a canyon so there is some hill walking and stairs to the restrooms. The tent site was nice and flat although a bit small for some tents and ours barely fit. There was plenty of room on the driveway to park a car and place a large tent, if necessary instead of the official tent spot. Restrooms were clean and very large. No utility sinks, so bringing your own dishwashing basin is necessary and it will need to be walked to the nearest toilet to dump.

The bathrooms were cleaner than many other campgrounds I have been to.

Very unique stay. We camped in the winter and it was chilly but still so special. There were bison all throughout camp and elk all around. The bathroom facilities were fantastic and the volunteer hosts managing the campsite were extremely friendly. So close to mammoth springs - this place is phenmomenal!
