The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the quiet in this campground...but not the mosquitos when the breeze died down. Bring bug spray! ;)

Small campsite with irregular terrain. Not too friendly rangers. Not close to the lake. Would not stay again.

This is a pretty compact campground, but we made it work. The site next to us, 41, was a small pond in the rain, but ours didn't retain water. If I went again, I'd plan further ahead and find a spot closer to the attractions to the north. The Grant village area just to the north has groceries, restaurant, etc. There were a lot of mosquitos. No drinking water when we were there. Pit toilet.

Good basic campground, and a great home base for exploring south Yellowstone and the Tetons. The Xanterra camps are definitely more luxurious, but this works in a pinch!
