I enjoyed my stay. The campsite was roomy, restrooms were clean and well maintained, and water was available at multiple convenient places. All of the sites had good tree cover and shade. The atmosphere was classic national park campground; quiet with families enjoying their time in the park. Its location is convenient to many areas in Yellowstone. The rangers and other staff members were very nice.

YNP is a very busy place. I'm amazed at how they are able facilitate that many people coming and going year over year. We told the rangers that we were leaving a day early, which was the next day. Later that day I got an email saying we checked out so we went back to the campground to address the issue and lo and behold we were checked out of our campsite that day and someone had already arrived and set up camp in our spot. The rangers quickly realized the mistake and found us a new spot for our last night in the park. It was a bit more tricky to find a level with our tent topper on our 4Runner but it was a much better spot where we just so happened to be not right next to anyone and closer to the bathrooms. I have so much gratitude for our park rangers. They work so hard for so little so that me and my son could experience one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen.

Great camp ground, excellent staff, very clean and located close to activities in the park.

Good location, not far off the main loop of Yellowstone. The sites are extremely small and packed together. The site we had was on a slope with the flattest part of it being RIGHT next to the pit toilet, where we had to put our tent. They came to empty it at 8am being as loud as can be. But we did get to hear elk bugling all night long so that was neat. For the price, not worth it. There are better campsites in the park that cost less.
