Campsite was right between toilets, so quite a distance. Nice to have a bear box in each campsite! Nice space and privacy.

Camp sites are pretty close together. Vault toilet was not very clean compared to other NPs weve visited recently.

The USNPS crew was helpful and visible at each step of our experience. Supported our decision to relocate Shoshone Lake campsites based on weather. At the Lewis lake camp it was clean and quiet. Thanks for a safe and pleasant experience.

Traditional camping, quite wild if you go with the tent: almost no services except for a tent pad and fire pit, only sink wc, no restroom and no dishwashing room. very calm and silent, in the middle of the nature near Lewis lake. Price value is excellent. bring with you the wood for the fire, since there is not there and the weather could be quite cold and humid, we were there in early September and there was nearly 35-40 F in the night.

Good quiet(er) campground, went late in the season and was one of two open. No water, at least when we went, but there was a vault toilet. Campsites were close together but there was decent foliage coverage between them. Bear boxes near all the sites, on a lake, fire pits and grates. Less amenities but quieter than most other camp grounds.
