Absolutely beautiful campground. And we really liked Sally, the camp host who checked us in. Friendly and funny. Would recommend this campground again.

Beautiful campsite and friendly staff. However, the W loop needs improvement since it only has one single restroom stall for 17 camp sites and has no water spigot in the loop itself.

Site was great. Very private and we couldn't see or readily hear any of our neighbors. The tent pad was not large but it was flat. Toilets were not good, and it is far away from a water spigot. You can park just below the campsite, and the walk up the hill was not bad. I'd say it is roughly equivalent to 1-1.5 flights of stairs in terms of difficulty.

We had a great time here. People complain about the mosquitos (which is a real thing) but if you are prepared for them then its a beautiful area. We had to walk up into the camp site which was nice because it was more secluded. We would definitely come back. Having a bear box was so nice!

I have heard that it is often this way but I have never experienced it. Check what the mosquitoes are like. I was there in mid June and they were Alaska bad. Not Alaska big, but Alaska bad. They would literally swarm around your face trying to land on DEET sprayed head. One night and I went through about 2/3 of a can of Off Deep Woods. I did not stay my second night.

Site #14 is a fantastic site if you're okay with walking a bit to get to it. The site is very private and feels like I'm truly camping in the woods. The facilities are good, too.

The lake was pretty and peaceful. Our site was wooded snd secluded, but overall the layout of the campground was poor with many exposed sites and parking everywhere. When we were there in early July the mosquitoes were unbearable. The toilet facilities were too few in number and dirty, they were not cleaned on a daily basis. On the plus side, it was a rare park that offered full recycling amenities.
