Very nice and quiet, got there late and left mid morning but everything clean and quiet.

We liked the nicely separated, well wooded spacing between the freshly graveled clean sites. It was thick enough to provide some sense of privacy, even though you could still see that the neighboring campsite was occupied. The shower house was kept clean and was nice. The heavily wooded separation between sites also extends behind the sites and keeps the lake from being viewed from your campground site as well. We were surprised at how few mosquitoes there were considering the water, heavy woods, and underbrush.
The beach is not near the campground, so needs to be driven to, and a pass gotten from the campground host for use of the beach facility without having to pay the same fee that non campers must pay.
All in all it seems like a great place to stop for a nights rest along your journeys trail, but for us, not really a destination campground in and of itself.

Clean, quiet, peaceful, no bugs or raccoons. Will be back!

We enjoyed our stay and the color was breath taking. The campground was well maintained and the restrooms were very clean. Very quite at night.

Large wooded sites. Very poor internet coverage in lower numbered sites. Good coverage up the hill.

Campsites are nice. Enough coverage for privacy. Need some water hookups. Staff was very friendly. Need to get yourself wood. Overall its a nice place for camping.

We locked down the whole loop with 5 families and we had a blast! The woods kept us cool during a blistering hot day, there was a beautiful look out of the lake. We appreciated the rangers coming by to quiet people down, which helped a ton on the kid front. Between the wheelbarrow of lumber and foraging for fallen sticks in woods, we were set all weekend. Only draw back was people related - driving truck through the loop full lights @ Midnight, chopping wood @ 630am.

Whole crew plans to come back next year.
