It was a very nice place to stay. The campsites are well-kept and the bathroom is very clean.

Nice, well spaced and heavily wooded sites. The campground host was really nice. The restroom and shower facilities were very clean and well cared for. Trails were in fair shape except where horses had damaged them.

The campground is well shaded for summer. The hiking trails are well marked. I enjoyed kayaking on the lake, the swimming beach well marked, shower house is very clean. Good bike trails nearby.

We love camping here. This was the first time in the Spring before the trees budded. We could actually see water. The bathrooms were open and clean.

Park sites were good; park has lots of trees. We drive into Stillwater, MN. It’s a great place to visit-trolley tour, walking on St.Croix River, antique shops. Also bought delicious cheese at Cady Cheese Factory just a few miles from the park.

Park sites were good; park has lots of trees. We drive into Stillwater, MN. Its a great place to visit-trolley tour, walking on St.Croix River, antique shops. Also bought delicious cheese at Cady Cheese Factory just a few miles from the park.

As usual, it was quiet and peaceful. Weve been here many times because of its location, cost and friendly people. I hesitate giving this place a good review because maybe it would be harder to get a reservation. :)

Would like to see a few larger campsites to accommodate larger camping trailers

We always have a great time at Highland Ridge. It is such a beautiful area and the campground is wonderful, with very good hiking trails. The trees are beautiful and the views from the top of the dam are spectacular. Make sure you stop at the bakery in Spring Valley - excellent custard filled chocolate rolls!! The Spillway Bar is also a cool place. And there are two tasty cheese factories nearby, Cady Cheese Factory and Eau Galle Cheese Factory. And Sailor's Meat Market in Elmwood, not to mention all the neat little pubs in the surrounding towns. Highland Ridge is a wonderful camping destination.
