Beautiful spot. Bugs were out like crazy, and the trains are pretty loud and close by, but stop during late night.

Loud trains close, mostly ran at evening and night (all night long) and required whistle blows are loud. Close to destinations we wanted to visit, nice campground. We chose a concrete pad, and it was fairly level.

This is a beautiful park. Know that water is available, but not at the campsite. The trees drop huge acorns. We almost ran outside with arms up and a white flag for surrender the first time our motorhome was acorn “bombed.” 😂😂😂

Lots of trails, trees, beauty.

We would love to give this campground an excellent rating but......We were absolutely driven crazy by the constant train traffic and the noise and rumble created by the fast moving freight cars VERY close the campground. Sleeping was affected as well. The grounds were lovely and the sites were nicely set up.

Grant River is one of our favorite locations along the river. Corp parks are the best

The smell coming from the pit toilets was repulsive, when contacting the staff was told, it would be taken care of, but it never was, ruined our weekend.

a great little park- scenic, spacious, nestled on the Mississippi and bordered by the railroad tracks. the rv sites are NOT laid out like match sticks in a box- park is so quiet most of the time it is possible to hear trains on the Iowa side of the River and hear the throbbing of tow boat engines pushing barges up the River. It's a dead end park, so there aren't any "town folk" coming around gawking at those of us staying in the park, which is nice-many other parks have a lot of "drive-thru" traffic.
