We love camping at Grant River! The camp host, Sandy and her husband Frank are friendly and helpful. The rangers that drive and walk through always wave and say hello. We have met many friendly fellow campers. We go to Dubuque to the lock and watch barges go through. At Cassville, you can take the car ferry across to Iowa and drive along the hills overlooking the river. The Driftless area of southwestern Wisconsin is beautiful.

Nice campground, right along the river. Sites are a bit close together but staggered, which helped. Theres train tracks on one edge of the campground, which could cause some annoyance, but they went quickly.

Railroad tracks are loud. The day we got ready to leave we couldn't dump our tanks because the dump station was full. Someone was coming to pump it that day

Great place. Views of the Mississippi River were amazing. Sites are close but campground is quiet. Trains come through quite often, but that adds to the experience. Fun places to visit include Potosi Brewing and Whispering Bluffs Winery in Potosi. Would definitely visit this campground again!
