Grant River campground is a hidden gem. So beautiful and serene, right on the shores of the Mississippi river. Such a quiet and peaceful campground that you really don't want to ever leave.

This is a beautiful quiet location on the Mississippi. Close to the Potosi Brewery, excellent beer. Hopefully, you like the sounds of trains close by, real close!

It was exactly what I was looking for. Stayed two days longer than anticipated. Will return. Super peaceful.

Great campground. Right on the Mississippi river, amazing view. Love the camp rules and park ranger presence ensuring everyone enjoys their stay. The price is awesome $20 for an electric site can't be beaten. The shower house that I used in the morning was really clean and kept up. I will definitely be back.

It is a quiet campground and has a very clean shower house. The campground is right on the Mississippi River. The boat ramp at this campground is essentially useless unless you are putting in a kayak, The river is extremely shallow and mucky here; the channel is on the Iowa side of the river. If you have a boat of any size then you need to go to the Cassville boat ramp. There is a RR track right next door and it is a busy track; it wasn't a determent to our camping.

This was the 3d time we stayed for 4 nights at Grant River. We were in site 05, Very Good, 50+ ft. Concrete, good view of river, some shade. We have a 34 ft. 5th wheel. Weather was Beautiful allweek. We will come back!!

Nice place to stay on the river. Trains nearby but not so loud that it's a problem. Stop in at the Grotto or cross the river to Dubuque to see the lock and dam in action. Only issue was the guy who stopped by our site to give us grief about our dog. Kind of creepy guy who said he had been watching us all weekend and noticed one or two times the dog was off leash. Like when we were going out and let the dog run from the trailer to the truck. Hopefully this guy is not a regular and I know he wasn't the campground host or ranger because we talked to them.
