Love camping at Grant River. The town of Potossi is charming - the brewery and restaurant are fantastic. Weve camped there several times and it never disappoints.

We love Grant River--and especially Site 49. We had a great experience there recently and look forward to the next season of camping.

Always a great place to stay. Grounds were well kept, even after a recent storm. Restroom facilities were always clean. Showers had nice hot water and good water pressure. Check in easy.

it's iis the best place I have found to camp Sandy and Frank are the Greatest . I really enjoy going there

Our experience was very good. Sandy, campground attendant was excellent. She was helpful in every way. I'm a model train buff and I had no problem with the nearby railroad. Campground was very clean and we'll organized.

We love Grant River Campgrounds .Because it is very Quiet & the other campers are all so nice. I would like to make it there more often, but working make it hard for me. but All the sites we had so far are nice & the restrooms are very clean too. Hope We can get into a spot next year. Thank you for Keeping this campground so clean.

As always we had a very peaceful experience at Grant River campground. Cant even remember how many times weve stayed there and always the same wonderful experience. Lots of birds including eagles flying right over the camper, pelicans both brown (rare) and white (frequent). Wanted to try fishing but we havent a boat. In terms of things to do, theres Dubuque, Iowa 20-30 minutes away. There, you can 2 casinos, an excursion boat on the Mississippi river, a fantastic, highly recommended Upper Mississippi River Museum, as well as restaurants, big box stores and movie theaters. In the other direction, on the Main Street in Potosi, WI, is an excellent restaurant/microbrewery. Good food and always fun to sample some of the local brews. I still like Steamboat Shandy but there are also ligh t and dark beers as well and of course you can sample before you order or purchase. Grant River is my happy place I would live in are near the campground if I were not currently tied to Milwaukee.
