Had their only showers and flush toilets closed our entire stay over a week and no notice prior to our coming, or apologies or compensation. Poor management

We read the reviews prior to arrival and knew we should have our fresh tank full and the black and gray empty. There are only a couple of places to fill you fresh tank with potable water the other hydrants say not safe for drinking. We chose our site based on the location of the restroom shower facility. Unfortunately, the park closed this facility about halfway through our stay due to water and sewer issues. The park itself is great. The section we were in has all asphalt roads with asphalt sites. We were parked right next to a waterway with eagles flying around.

We visited sites in the area, including Granddad's Bluff and a trip on the La Crosse Queen. We did a lot of f'ishing and enjoyed a couple of fish fries while there.The only negative is the situation with available drinking water.

We loved the campground! It was peaceful with a breathtaking view from the back of the camper. We visited a couple of wineries. We also visited Horsfall variety stores in Iowa.Some of our group went fishing and we had a fried fish lunch on day! We will definitely be back!

We love it there. The sites are so spacious and well kept , it is quiet there, the bathrooms are always clean.. We like that we can park the boat in the water right behind the camper. Although this year the water was too low to do that.

The campground and individual campsites were in excellent shape! Landscaping, lighting, restrooms and roads were clean and well maintained. Eric was especially helpful! His friendly, professional and service with a smile attitude made our stay extra nice. I highly recommend Eric as an exemplary employee and representative for COE parks.

Blackhawk Park is a beautiful campground. Enjoyed our stay at the park. The only negative at this time is the road construction, but once that is complete it will be great.

We love Black Hawk. We have been coming here for the past several years with our 5th wheel. The sites are spacious and large enough for big rigs. They also support recycling.

Campsite was very nice, large and clean. Shower house and restroom was also very clean.
After our first of 3 nights we received a message showing a refund for cancelling the next two nights, which we hadn't. A visit to the office got it corrected.
Will plan to use it again.

Blackhawk is a beautiful, quiet campground with easy access to fishing and boating. There are eagle nests along the water. The restrooms are very clean and the entire park is well maintained.
