The bathroom/shower house had a sign that read - Closed Indefinitely- I would not have made that reservation had I know that - Only available restroom was a single toilet outhouse to be used by both men and women with no lights - no hand sanitizer - no hook to hang clothes while changing - Wont be back

The beach was not well kept.

So glad we found out about Army corps of Engineers campgrounds. Very nice stop while on the road to out west! Clean and well taken care of! Cant beat the price either!!!

We enjoyed hiking south at Effigy Mounds State Park in Iowa and also enjoyed hiking around a lake in Duck Egg Park , a county park in Vernon county, Wisconsin.

Nice sized sites along the water, quiet park, nice biking.

Nice little campground. Sites were clean and level. They are a little close together for my liking but not to bad. Not as sperated as a state park but better than a lot of private campgrounds. Lots of access to the Mississippi backwaters. Great kayak\paddle boarding and fishing. Great cell signal on Verizon.
