No camp host, but the ranger came around daily to touch base.

Not a flat big enough spot for our 22 ft trailer very cramped campsite. We ended up not staying and drove home but love other sites at Trout Creek Campground

Camper Beware. Trout Creek Campground is a beautiful area to camp, but not if you're in anything larger than maybe a TAB trailer or perhaps a small rPod. This is best described as a 'tent' campground as there are literally a handful of sites that can accommodate a trailer longer than 15'. If you know the sites you could reserve one of the few that could handle a larger trailer but there are only a couple. The road in and around the campground is very tight for a medium sized rig and the actual campsites (along the river) are very shallow and narrow. Don't trust the website suggestions for length - believe me they are shallower than advertised. We requested a full refund and the Park Ranger agreed when he visited us at the park.

It's a nice place in big trees on the river, but I couldn't even hear the river because the camper in the site next to me had his generator running all evening. He claimed the right to run it until ten o'clock. There are no rules posted regarding use of generators. Ruined what would have been a nice stay. I go to campgrounds to enjoy Nature, not listen to incessant motors and argue with idiots about the noise they are making. I'm 72.
