Pros: - close prox to sahalie, kosah and tamolitch falls- close to olallie creek-short drive to cougar reservoir and blue lake reservoir. cons:- no running water, campsites slightly close together- lower sites at risk of flooding- some sites not shaded from sun throughout day-never saw camp host and site was littered with trash when we arrived, granted it was right after 4th of July weekend. (plastic water bottles, toilet paper and eggshells in/around fire pit).Overall will not be returning to this site as there are plenty of better options in the area, mona/lookout/slide creek.

We love the campground. Be aware that the sites at the end of the loop back up to a deep ravine with fast water. Good to know if you have small kids. The water from the pump was safe but didn’t taste great and had sediment in it. Bring drinking water.

This was our first time staying at Olallie Campground and it was a great experience. The only knock I would say is that the highway is right next to some of the upper camp spots and the lower level ones are somewhat hard to get due to their appeal. The Olallie Creek was right behind our spot (#8) though so that added to the white noise quite nicely. The mosquito's were not an issue due to elevation and fast moving water in late July. Definitely a great campground to stay in if you are in the Eugene/ Springfield area and want to feel like you are sleeping in the forest.

Great place to stay with a nice river running behind the camp area.

This is a fairly small campground with 2 pit toilets - one on the upper loop and one on the lower loop. Water is only available at a single pump on the lower loop. The best sites are where Ollalie Creek runs into the Mckenzie River. The upper loop is close to the Mckenzie River Hwy, so you do get some road noise, especially during the day. The campground host, Tim, was outgoing and proactive in asking if we needed recommendations on things to do in the area.

Stayed on the upper loop (#8) Thought we might be able to splash in the creek, but it is steep down to the creek and the water was FAST! Had some very disappointed kiddos. Not very private either. Probably would skip this campground next time.
