Really nice campground with stunning view. We had site #9 which was huge, had decent privacy, and had a path to the lake that led to a little beach. Bugs werent too bad for our weekend, but it was a little smoky. Cons: if youre looking for peace and quiet, this might not be it. Lots of ATV trails around, so you could usually hear motors running. Our neighbors were quite loud, and the kids were running around and screaming before 7am. Site #9 is nice to have the trail to the beach, but people from other sites also wanted to use our path. We didnt mind too much, but there were a few people entering our site to get to the lake. Overall, still a 5 star experience.

Big Lake is an awesome lake, but it attracts many RV's, motorized boats, and off road vehicles because of surrounding amenities. You'll hear generators all day, as well as music and loud people. Our site had very minimal shade and was very hot, but it was big and lots of space to play. Bathrooms are pit toilets but smell free and clean.

Space #9 is very spacious with a small trail to the lake. You have your own space on the lake for a couple of chairs and an umbrella. The lake was crystal clear. Low, until you get into the middle of the lake. FYI, it’s a dusty place. Be prepared for mosquitoes and a sky full of stars!!!

Had a great time. Nice large site. The site did indicate it was full shade, but there was no shade at all. The water was low where we were, perfect for the kids.

Excellent camp host and scenery. Great camp site, with its own trail to the lake.

The neighboring campers could use a lesson in decency/a smack in the head. Building a boat bottom using POWER TOOLS at 9 in the morning? We live in a construction zone, we don't need it in the outdoors. Not to mention horridly irresponsible in this wildfire season.
