Table almost 30 degree angle and couldnt get host or parks dept to fix. Stairs to said table at 45 degree side to side. Site was basically unusable. Parks dept is a joke even after I submitted pictures and complained. Even talked to the parks director. Never in 65 years of going there did we have such a terrible experience.

Great Lake to swim and canoe.
Nice campsite with a steep but usable path to water.
Only real complaint is that motor boats on lake were lacking respect for non motor boats and creating large waves.

We stayed here specifically to photograph Mt. Washington reflecting on Big Lake. We were not disappointed, both the sunset and sunrise shots were amazing. Our original reservation was cancelled because the site was not ready. When I rebooked I was not able to get spaces beside each other and my sister and I like to camp in close proximity to each other for safety sake. However, the camp manager was more than accommodating and did allow us to put both cars on one parking pad. You really need to ask about the sites as they is a great variance in view and access to lake and even how steep the parking pads are, which is a concern if you are older. The mosquitos were non stop and we ventured out just for the photography and even with dousing ourselves in insect repellant I think I actually heard the mosquitos laughing as they dined on us. All the sites seemed to me well maintained as did all the bathrooms. The camp manager seemed to be on top of cleaning and maintenance.
