We really like this spot cause it alittle more excluded from other camp sites across the way. But only thing that was a con was hwy 22 is right on the other side of the river and there big semis driving through all night so that kept us awake . And you cant drive in so we were unaware we would have to hike everything up and down a hill. Also we were planning on staying an extra night cause it said first come first serve so we were gonna book an extra night when we got there but then someone else had it reserved the night after us when it said no reservations so that was not something we were happy about. We went to go talk to the host and they were no where to be found .

Great place! Water was pretty far down but still nice, canopy provided enough shade to survive in the heatwave! Overall a clean, nice place. Bathrooms are good too!

Very clean. The camp host was friendly and respectful. Camp sites not too close together.

Beautiful quiet setting but the lake is so dry there was no “ lakeside” access or water view from the campground. It was quiet with the sound of breeze rustling through the trees at daytime but at night lots of truck traffic noise from across the lake. The stahlman point trail was closed, so no hiking anywhere near the campground and definitely no lake activities. We packed up and left after one night. Not the campground’s fault but a sign of our times. Global warming is taking its toll.

Even though the water was low we had a great time. The campground was well kept and our neighbors were friendly and easy to camp near. We caught 24 lovely trout and thanks to the local marina Kane's we had a safe place to park our boat. The camp host, Andrew was a lot of help and did a good job caring for us. We will definitely return next year!
