We have been visiting this campground for over a decade and its a favorite annual trip. The sites are great and when the water levels are high enough the lake access is great. The one downside this year was the bathrooms. We stayed for 9 days and our site had a direct line of site to the bathroom. The camp host did empty the trash and restocked the toilet paper twice a day but that's about it. At no point did we ever see anyone sanitize the bathrooms or bring in tools to clean the counters or toilets. But even worse nothing was done to clean the showers. They used to be cleaned and hosed down twice per day. We have to pay for the showers so our whole group was a bit shocked that the showers were never cleaned or sanitized. The amount of mold and dirt in them was pretty disgusting and with no daily cleaning the floors quickly became a muddy mess after a few showers. At one point on the 8th day of the trip we saw the camp host enter one shower with some cleaning spray and a toilet brush. But a few minutes was spent cleaning only the shower not the room and they didn't clean anything in the other 2 working showers. If you plan to shower there prepare to shower near piles of hair, a huge collection of bugs and the dirt from all the months prior guests.

We were very disappointed to get to our campsite, get setup and then get in the water only to be told it’s toxic. The algae blooms that plagued this lake a few years ago are apparently back but it’s not posted anywhere to help keep people safe. We heard thru the other campers who were on the water that a sheriff told them to stay out and it would be posted on the next weekday. Extremely frustrating.
The next night, the manager came around to tell us the water was being shutoff so bathrooms were closed and no running water. Not a great experience and we won’t be returning to this lake.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
