Mosquitos here are abundant near the lake. Made it hard to enjoy anything outside at the campground. Lots of people using generators.

We had site E-72 and it's right across the road from the bathrooms, which we like. The site is private with trees on both sides of it. It's also close to the water by a path. We had a campfire and liked that someone left a 5-gallon bucket filled with water next to the water spigot. We used it to extinguish our fire and replaced the filled bucket where we found it. We don't carry in our small camper van a container this big, so it was nice to have it to put out the fire. The weather was rainy and chilly and there were a number of empty sites, so it was quite quiet during this visit. No camp host ever contacted us during our 3-day stay which is unusual, but maybe this is a new procedure. We had no problems, we kayaked all 3 days and the lake was was calm and beautiful. The water was low, but it didn't affect our kayaking. We put in the kayaks near site 78 and took them out near site 70. We loved the emptier campground because it was very quiet. Almost nobody was on the lake. We saw at least 5 blue heron nests and an osprey nest - all with babies. AWESOME!

Great views of the Rockies and Dillon Resevoir. 5 minutes from downtown Frisco, Colorado. We took the 20 minute drive to Breckenridge for dinner one night. From camping to fine dinning in minutes. Though basic, backing in is easy. the pavement can be narrow at some sites so a separate "booster step" is quite useful. I think all sites are available to rigs 25 ft or shorter

The bike path is excellent. We rode to Breckinridge one day and Keystone another. Both rides are fun with gentle uphills.
