A very nice campground walking distance to the lake. Some sites are more forested than others. Large tent pads. When booking, check distance to the bathrooms. It was windy at night but my site was nestled in the trees enough that I wasn't worried about my tent. The RV's seemed mindful of the curfew, I didn't hear generators at night. Firewood is pricey from the host but Safeway in town had it for about half price. Plenty of places to pick up provisions in nearby Frisco and Silverthorn, including an REI.Will return.

Pleased with stay in this campground. We stayed in campsite D53. Nice site with plenty of room for 3 small tents (group of 3 bikepackers). Love that sites built to minimize impact to surrounding vegetation and trees. Clean bear box and table. The bathrooms we used were very clean (standard FS composting toilets). Campground is situated on bike path that runs from north of Silverthorne to Breckenridge so easy to get to these areas safely. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. My only con: you can here road noise from nearby Hwy 9 and I-70 but not as bad as I thought it might be considering proximity of campground to these roadways.

Beautiful campsite, so many awesome camping spots to choose from! Restrooms were clean, camping spots were spaced out enough that they did not feel crowded and felt private. Easy access to Lake Dillon and the host was so personable. My husband I will def be back!

This is such a gorgeous campsite. We went in late September and the aspens were in full color change and dot your drive to the campsite and then are sprinkled throughout the campsite as well. Beautiful view of the reservoir and nice tent pad site. Water spigot and restroom facility close to all campsites. We recommend the Herman Gulch trail near the area (about a 10-15 minute drive away). Would absolutely camp here again.
