Great location. Very peaceful during the week. Was advised by other campers to avoid the weekends. Nighttime Loon music was a plus.

On our most recent camping trip to Russel Pond we realized that our family has camped there for the last 50 years! And it still feels the same when we visit...quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms have been updated during that time which now include showers, a nice addition. This last trip brought back many fond memories of bike riding around the campground as kids and so much time swimming and fishing in the pond. The on-site host is also an added plus and it's always nice getting to know them and hear about their travels. My kids have taken their kids here and now we all come as kind of a camping reunion. We love it!

Very well managed campground. Helpful hosts and staff. My wife and have told many of our friends how wonderful and quiet the sites were.

Beautiful pond with clear water and very fun to explore in a canoe or kayak. The campground is deeply wooded and has generous spacing between sites. Plenty to do with a family in the nearby area, we found the town of Woodstock was a lot of fun for our young kids, but there is also lot of hiking and site seeing that can be done for free. I do feel that some of the bathrooms are in need of some updates (showers can be cold). Host campers are friendly and took good care of the place.
