I camp every year at Russell Pond and it seems to be going downhill fast. Why are all but (1) one showers "Out of Order"? There are a total of eight (8) showers in the campground but seven (7) of them were out of order. There must have been well over 200 campers with only 1 shower. This is sad as this used to be one of the better campgrounds in the White Mountains of NH. Come on Recreation.gov, take care of the basics.

Have camped at Russell Pond for the past 30-years. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom facilities have recently gone downhill. The sites are still in great shape but bathrooms need a major overhaul.

Difficult to speak to someone at the campground prior to going there.In setting up the reservation it looked like all the sites were taken. When we arrived there was hardly anyone there.
