It has an amazing location and a wonderful layout for a campground. We stole away for a few days in late September, and there were plenty of sites available. The bathrooms and showers were a nice bonus.

We were surprised to have to check ourselves in since we got in pretty early. Couldnt pull up internet to see what spot we had reserved online due to no internet. The closest shower was closed with no indication of where another was. No camp maps anywhere either (again no internet to pull up). No hand soap in normal bathrooms either. Nice camp spot on River though you can hear it at night

Very nice upgrade of the camping. Very good reception from the office staff. very quit during our stay. We experience shower issue: no hot water in the evening. Slamming steel door from the toilet near our site (day and night) little disturbing.No soap in wash room for washing hands ! (a minimum for hygenic consideration)

The Dolly Copp campground is in amazing shape after the recent makeover and having flush toilets and shower options are exceptional. The staff was wonderful especially the new site manager whose name we can't remember. We had a wonderful conversation with her one afternoon (and her golf cart did NOT backfire! LOL). Our site No. 166 was fine but for the location and exposure to the new bathroom. It would be great in the future to either install a privacy fence or a vegetated visual barrier between the the site and the rest room. Highly recommend Dolly Copp Campground!
