We had a very nice stay at Gerald Freeman campground. Sites were plenty big (length and width) being the end of April there were only 7 of us. Right on one of the lakes "fingers". We did have a slight problem with the electric service (50amp), but we were able to use the 30amp until it was fixed the next morning. Closest bathrooms (by the playground) were still closed. The ones at the far end in the loop were open. This was a low-key stay for us as we were continuing on to Ohio to meet friends. Will come back in the future to discover the area

We love camping at Freeman’s. Are experience is always having a wonderful week. It goes by to fast. We always hate when are last night comes up. We would stay longer if we could.

Nice secluded campground down in a valley. I didnt end up staying more than a night because I work remotely and there is zero service within a good 5 miles of campground. Would come back though

We ended up leaving a day early. It was a pretty park but the grass had not been cut for awhile, it was incredible dark at night with no street lights which was made even worse due to the mountains and being cloudy. We were concerned with walking our dogs at night especially since there was animal scat throughout the park. Cell service was nonexistent. We couldnt even make calls if there was an emergency. Also, there was no camp staff that we ever saw.

This one of our favorite campgrounds. The grass was mowed and the grounds were cleaned daily. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip minus some rain.
