This was a great campground! It was walking distance to the visitor city and Newhalem town to explore. The bathrooms seemed clean. Next time Im going to stay at a walk-in site to feel even more secluded.

Loved this location. It was a very clean campground. The camp hosts were very kind and helpful. All the rv spots are paved and have tent spots. It has many great hikes in the campground and around the area. The night hike at the power station is a must to see the falls lit up.

Second time camping at Newhalem. Even better than the first. Interestingly, scored the same site I camped at the first time.

Very nice national park campground amongst a pretty forest setting. During my visit in early July 2022, my campsite neighbors were all respectful and quiet. Lots of opportunities for hiking and sight-seeing nearby. Campground is very clean and well maintained. I didn't use the restroom facilities (I was in my RV). Make sure to have your food, beverages and a full-tank of gas already purchased beforehand...as the nearest place with facilities is Marblemount (about 15 mins away). The town of Newhalem has a tiny and helpful convenience store, but it is closed on weekends. The campground C-Loop does not have any road noise from Hwy 20...so it is very peaceful. Lots of great birdsong during the mornings. I will definitely be back on a future North Cascades adventure!

Nice campground, but very buggy. We got there when it was hot and humid. Not the best conditions. Also, general store and supplies where non existent. Come here at your own risk. Beautiful lace but with lots of break ins and cautions. We were not at ease here.

This was out first year in loop A and it was great! This is one of our favorite campgrounds. It’s always clean and there’s a lot to do so the kids are never bored. It’s our Father’s day weekend getaway.

We love this campground! It is well kept and the services are great. The junior ranger program was really well done.

Beautiful area! A relatively quiet National Park campground, clean, sites well-spaced out. Friendly staff, kids enjoyed the morning nature program (though wish they had the evening park ranger programs, too!) . Only thing missing was a lighting in the bathroom; pitch-black and a little creepy at night! Maybe install one of those movement-sensor lights so they are only on when the restroom is in use.
