The campground was well maintained and had nice walking trails. Everything was easily accessible.

Campground was delightfully quiet and sites had a decent amount of privacy. Bathrooms were very clean. Short (20 min) drive to Marblemount, which has a couple restaurants, including a great diner (Marblemount Diner), and gas stations (one gas station also has a lot of random supplies and groceries, which is helpful). Lots of short trails around the campground leading to the visitor's center, Newhalem, etc. Friends stayed at one of the walk-in sites and it was definitely a bit more of a walk than usual - good if you're set up for backpacking or have a rugged cart with you to haul things. Absolutely wonderful campground that we'd love to visit again.

We said for three nights in June 2021. When we first arrived I was a bit disappointed because it looked like the campground could use some attention. There are a lot of down trees on the grounds around the campsites. In addition, we arrived on a Saturday and the first afternoon/evening there were group of children riding bikes around the campground screaming which made it feel like we were camping on a playground. Fortunately, they left the next day and it was much more peaceful the following two nights. What is great about the campground is that it puts you amidst the incredible beauty of the overall park.

This was a very nice site. It had nice updated bathrooms and a central water location.

The bathroom was quite clean. The campsites were very clean also. Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire ring, BBQ setup. The campground is easily found, and the campsites are well marked. The driver way is paved and level and wide enough for 2 cars. People were keeping the place quiet, no loud music.
