This was our first stay at Newhalem Creek and we found it to fit our needs very well. The sites are large with a paved parking slot. It is very near the Skagit with trails for easy river access. It was clean and the rangers were very friendly. It was a terrific experience.

Very nice campground, no hookups but that was no problem. Nice campground host and staff. Great location for sightseeing and hikes .

Lovely campground. As much space and seclusion as you can hope for in a car-accesible campsite, and possibly the nicest campsite bathrooms Ive come across. The Trail of Cedars hike to Ladder Falls behind the Newhalem dam is a terrific flat and easy hike, maybe a good warmup walk with your morning coffee or a cool down after youve exhausted yourself hiking over Cascade Pass or Maple Pass or any of the other unbelievable trails within reach from here.
