Sites 42 and 45 close to water. Watch out for Rattlesnakes. We saw a small one warming on concrete of fire pit last year Labor Day and a 2ft one this year at site 42 Labor Day. They come out of the long grass at dusk to find a good spot to warm up. Many kids and dog walkers use the area between 45 and 42 after dark so be watchful. Tossed a few pebbles towards it and it retreated into the long grass. Yes, it was a rattler, not a Bull Snake

Beautifully maintained park. Restrooms were always clean and smelled fresh. We even watched campground hosts clean out fire pits and scrub picnic tables after a camper checked out. Nice large shade trees. Just be aware freight trains run near by so you will experience the sound of a mile long train as it passes through.

The park is one of my favorites and weve been coming here for over 15 years now. Its usually very neat and tidy and well kept. This year something was off. There were tall shrubs lining the roads. Grass was long and hadnt been mowed in a while. It was just weird. I can tell that other improvements have been made to some of the sites- especially the ones overlooking the river to help level out the lot. I wish more sites had full hook up. We love this and the unkept lawns wont keep us away.

Great park but seemed to be infested with earwigs

Thanks to our Nuevi (GPS) we found it. We arrived in the dark and there was not enough signage on the roadway. If you don't know were it is, you'll never find it. There is not enough lighting in the park. We had to feel our way around to find the spot we reserved.
Please work on better signs to the park and Lights in the park
