Campsite was great. Clean and fairly private. Most campers were very respectful and used their masks. The rangers were helpful in answering our questions. The parking was ample. The bathrooms by the day use parking area near the main entrance to the south campgrounds were well kept and clean. We saw a lovely deer one evening.The one concern we had were the bathrooms by the campsites. They did not seem to be cleaned or sanitized often enough. There was an infestation of gnats and they were all stuck to the sinks and even the toilets. Some of the teenage girls screamed as they used the bathroom. I imagine they did not like being swarmed with bugs. One night I ended up using the men's bathroom (instead of the women's bathroom) late at night to wash up as the men's bathroom was slightly better and had less gnats on the sinks. The women's bathroom had its door propped open and the men's didn't. I imagine that may have helped with the gnat swarming. All in all, we had a positive camping experience. It was our first time there.
