We loved the site, surroundings, and the chill vibe at Colonial. Great place to camp if you're passing through or looking for a peaceful get-away. Fabulous trails and beautiful sights. We were also happy to see bathrooms with running water - a definite plus.

Love the isolation of this park. Enjoyable hikes nearby. However showers would be nice.

Excellent campground. Perfect base for exploring the North Cascades. A bear locker is provided, toilets and potable water available at many locations. There were bugs so take insect repellant. Easy to navigate and park

Great camping experience! Park is well keep, the rangers office was helpful onsite and provided our 2 yr old with a nature coloring book. Recommend the Colonial creek south, which is where we stayed. We drove by spots on the north across the road but didnt like the vibe as much and spots felt more crowded together. Bring a kayak!

Great camping experience! Park is well keep, the ranger’s office was helpful onsite and provided our 2 yr old with a nature coloring book. Recommend the Colonial creek south, which is where we stayed. We drove by spots on the north across the road but didn’t like the vibe as much and spots felt more crowded together. Bring a kayak!
