Beautiful place, Clean bathrooms. Centrally located to the hikes.

We have been camping here for the past 6 years and have always had a wonderful time with outgoing, kind and helpful park rangers available throughout every stay. This year told a different story- the young rangers were rude, made us feel we were putting them out for asking questions and did not inform campers on the imminent danger of daily bear sightings. We've been camping in National and State Parks for over 40 years and these were the worst Park Rangers we, and our camping neighbors have ever encountered.

This was a good site that I chose since it was close to the restroom, which was a good idea except that the light from the restroom means you never get darkness at night. If you prefer proximity to the restroom over darkness, then you won't mind this site. Noise was not an issue despite being so close to the restroom. We also had two groups of people and found that it was difficult to find to separate sites to set up tents. The second group set up where cars are parked and then we just parked out cars a little closer to the road. It wasn't bad but we had to make sure we cleared the rocks before hand since the floor was really hard.
