We enjoyed our time at spring canyon. The beach area is awesome with lots of shade trees. We participated in a service project with cleaning up plastics. The park ranger did a great job on his presentation explaining the importance of not leaving plastics around.

sites are too close and crowded, was very scenic and had a great beach and day use facilities.

This was our first time at Spring Canyon. We had one of only two I believe pull through and it not a typical pull through but it worked. We enjoyed our time there. The bathrooms were clean, no showers. The grounds were nice

This is one of our favorite dry campgrounds. The sites are large and the views are beautiful.

This is probably one of the best swimming beaches in Washington. It does get busy though and campsites are a little close together.

The Spring Canyon campground is a great launch point to explore the multitude of rock climbing crags in central Washington. The town of Grand Coulee just down the road from the campground has a small but quaint Safeway for groceries, firewood and the likes. As for the campground itself, we thought that the sites were a bit stacked and open, but we are used to camp in the backcountry so this may not be a fair assessment. For end of October, though, it was perfect. There were only two other groups of users in the entire campground so it was a perfect setting for us. The fire pits and picnic table were in good condition. The vault toilet was spotless. What more could you ask for at $9 per night. Oh, and we were visited by a herd of deer. Crags we explored were Picnic Table Rock, Gibraltar Rock, Jones Bay crag, Golf Course crag. There are probably another hundred routes to climb in Road Side Rock and other crags in the area. Highly recommended.
