The way the website works for ease of use rates a 1 star. However, the person at the park were absolutely outstanding. I had reserved and paid for 2 nights. I fell and hurt my shoulder on the second morning and I was in pain so I decided it was best to go home. There was someone manning the house at the gate and I stopped and told him we were leaving because I had fallen. He was very kind and wished me well. When I checked my credit card, he had reimbursed me for the second day and I did not even request that he do that. Wonderful gesture on his part. I love that park and the people who work there. Twice I have been helped with outstanding people staying at that park. My only complaint is that I wish there were more first come first serve spots at that park so I didn't have to deal with the reservation system. Also, Internet can be sketchy,

Quiet, clean, close to the river and great place to start a long bike ride along the Columbia River. Would definitely recommend.

Gate attendants were friendly and sociable and the park was clean. The camp hosts were Johnny on the spot when it came to cleaning up a site after someone left, raking the gravel areas and swabbing the tables with disinfectant I assume it was disinfectant anyway), and they were also friendly. We had never stayed there prior to the end of September but were impressed enough to return for the early October stay. Since they open the middle of April, will probably be back for some spring stays, weather permitting, that is.

Corp of engineers park. Excellent campground lay out. Not crowded, clean. We had water and electric, no sewer. Dump station located-in park as well as potable water.
Fire season in affect but big fire ring and picnic table.
Easy drive to Oregon for supplies. Laundry room closed-looks like it may have been closed a while.
