I've camped a lot, from a simple tarp to a nice rv.The #8 yurt that was rented was dirty. There were multiple little things that should have been addressed before the next camper arrived. But those little things are minimal to the presence of mold all over the lower portions of the walls of the yurt. Also there was no lock what so ever to secure the door. We had to use a folding chair to secure the door while slept and crossed our fingers when we were away. The site is listed as ADA.If I were a person with disabilities needing a ramp or railing considering renting this I can tell you the railing in my personal opinion is unsafe. The ramp and platform needs addressed. Would I rent this again NO.

Anthony Lake is a beauty, the yurt was so nice with the rain while we stayed. We stayed warm with the inside fire. Its close to the restroom and water. The only thing I recommend to others would be bring more cushion for the bed.

Would appreciate a lock on the door. I've stayed in many yurts at state parks in Oregon, and they all had a lock on the door. The yurt I was in had many flies in it. The camp host was aware of this. Then at night, there were many (20 or more) large moths on the inside of the skylight. That is where most of the flies were also. They are getting in somewhere. Creepy!!
Otherwise, loved the yurt and appreciated the stove and propane to use. The state park yurts don't have that!
Ultimately it would be wonderful to have a screen door to get the heat out, fresh air in, and no mosquitos in. There were millions.
Thanks

The yurt was well appointed with a two burner stove, utensils, games and such left by previous guests, a small table and chairs and plenty of sleeping space. Due to the cold and rain no one showed to their spots so we had the entire place to ourselves. Very relaxing and wonderful. The place was very well kept and the gentleman who maintains the area was really good guy.

.The views were great and it was very peaceful! However, the Camp Host was not available (Nor was there posted hours), it was not made apparent if the parking was included when reserving online, the yurt was unlocked (with no key available) when we arrived, and the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable

It was a beautiful location and we had a dusting of snow which was nice. Cold in the yurt, though! Overall the camp host was supportive, the hikes were nice, the yurt had great amenities including gas stove and wood burning stove for heat. At this late time of year, we were nearly alone at the campground as well, which was what we needed. Did I say it was cold, thought?
