Fantastic experience. Campground was very clean and nicely maintained. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. By far one of the best camping experiences that I have had. We will be back in the future for sure.

What a great campground. Well appointed sites with beautiful white boulders, well kept picnic tables and fire rings and vault toilets near by all. The trails around the lake are so perfect and just the perfect mellow place to relax away from it all. I grew up in eastern Oregon and spent many summers and winters going up to Anthony to snowboard, hike, and kayak but had NEVER even driven into the campground. What a nice surprise! Ill be booking a whole week next summer. And the Star Bottles pizza and beer were a big hit for a nice Sunday dinner with some family who drove up from Baker. If you want a quiet, clean, and entirely beautiful please to take a breath, Anthony Lakes is the place for you!

Spectacular location and views. Really enjoyed the trees and rocks around our campsite. Unfortunately the mosquitos were horrendous and we could only stay 1 of our 2 nights. Sorry to have missed out on spending time at the lake and the hiking. Camp host Hunter was gracious and accomodating.

Fantastic spot. Mosquitos were nasty.

The campsites were spacious and spaced out enough to have some sense of privacy. The area is beautiful. It was not crowded. Plenty of hiking opportunities from the campground or within minutes by car. Anthony Lake was beautiful and great for a kayak or raft and was very swimmable in middle August. Check out the Starbottle Saloon for a beer and pizza at the ski lodge near the lake, open on weekends!
