Fun place to camp in our rented RV near Washington DC.

The park and camping area are gorgeous and overall very peaceful! Our site specifically felt very private where some of the others seem a little right on top of each other. Our only complaint was an EXTREMELY loud group of Scouts who were camping in a cluster of four other sites across the loop from us. Despite the distance they did manage to wake us up several times the first night we were there (they were loud well into the night, I was startled awake by their shouting around midnight which is well after quiet hours). In spite of that though, the site was so nice weve already made plans to come back a little later this fall (well just cross our fingers no scout troops have the same idea!)

The campgrounds were clean, spacious, and a very quiet and relaxing environment. We'll definitely be back!

Bathrooms are very clean. Camping space is large. Everything is well marked. Great hiking close by.

Bathrooms were immaculate, and all facilities worked well. Marine rifle fire from quantico may wake you so bring ear plugs.

Very nice campground close to Arlington, VA. Our kids ages 6 and 11 loved all the rocks they found in the creek during our hike in the laurel trail. The sites are spaced out (perfect during COVID). We did not use the showers since we were only there for 1 night. The fire pit is a grill as well so we were able to grill steaks around 6 p.m and then at night roast marshmallows. Bring a brush to clean the grill. Bring bikes or scooters so the kids can go around the paved loop. It does get quite dark during the fall so bring at least two lanterns. We stayed at campsite B11.

Lovely, spaced out campsites within an easy drive of the DC area. Oak Ridge campsites have fire rings and picnic tables and there is potable water nearby. Note there is no campstore and you'll need to pick up wood at the 7-Eleven just east of Highway 1.

The campground was fairly neat. Showers had hot water and it was quite lovely in the fall (we went in late August).
