awesome campground. there were a lot of families on the weekend but during the week it was quiet and peaceful. bathrooms were so clean and so nice. 15 min drive to the campground once entering the park but it was very pretty. lots of gorgeous trails right from the campsite all around the park. historical manassas and DC make great day trips. overall best camping experience ever.

We had a great time. The site was exactly as described. The Park Rangers made an appearance to check in on everyone and make sure people were doing the right thing. The facilities were clean and had supplies.

Gentle forest. Clean, well maintained. Friendly staff and campground hosts. Unbelievable at how close the park is to our nation's capital.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the restroom for Loop C was open even though I was there before the end of March.
I was at Prince William for two days of orienteering and stayed some extra days to be able to do some hiking. The rangers at the Visitors Center were helpful with information about some of the hikes.

Absolutely a gem in the rough! The campsite was easy to find and clean. The roads were clear and in excellent condition. There was plenty of room at the site and it was clean. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. A golf course nearby and the Marine Corps Museum make this location ideal for something to do while here.
