Northbend is a beautiful campground. The lake is so much fun to kayak, stand up paddle board or just float. The beach is nice. We love it there.

There needs to be some sort of good system to cancel campsite reservations without refund for folks that do not show up. It is extremely frustrating to see campsites that are reserved sit completely empty for multiple nights when there are so many folks trying to get reservations. I watched a campsite during my recent visit sit empty/unused for 4 consecutive nights, but it was reserved.

One of the best things they did was contract the landscaping they do and excellent job. But the ones that supposed to clean the shower houses do a poor job run out of supplies, do not keep up supplies, I have went in right after cleaning and it's almost as filthy as before cleaning.

This was a wonderful visit. Usually, hang out on the beach, but our last visit the beach was flooded. This time we were able to find a nice shaded area to put our chairs and hang out all week. Even though there were lots of other folks, everyone was quite respectful of one another keeping good distance.
