It's a very nice campground with staff that is nice and not bothersome. The sure are a good size and spaced apart well but privacy between the sites is non existent. The lake is very clean as were the bathrooms. There are a few negatives, as tent campers we were a little disappointed that the entire, large pad was entirely covered in stones. Also disappointing that you have to go off the campground to get wood and ice. It's not a far drive but would be more convenient if it was in site. All things considered, we'll go back again.

We believe its time for USACE or North Bend to devise a generator policy and put it into practice. There were four generators running for an entire week, day and night just a few camp sights away on non-electric sites. What was worse is they were right next to the beach and designated swimming area making sitting outside your rv, on the beach or in the swimming area difficult at be at just to carry on a normal conversation. Then there was the drone of all of them at night and you could hear them even with our a/c running. We dont come camping to listen to generators running all week long. Its time to stop the generator madness!

This site had a trail to the water and my son loved it. Not much of a view but the trail made it a great site.

We always have a great time at North Bend. My only problem is the number of empty sites that stay reserved. We can never get some of our favorite sites but we get a different site and our favorites stay empty all week a lot of the time. But I am sure probably at a lot of other places too.
