Horseshoe point is one of my favorite places to camp. The campsites along the lakeshore are terrific for kayakers/paddleboarders with plenty of nearby coves to explore.

Campground hosts are super helpful people! If you need something, just ask. We loved our tent site with its own view of the lake. You might have to carry water a distance from the well--we did, but our spot was worth it! We were able to kayak right up to the site. The water level is down currently, so that might not always be the case. Horseshoe Point is a quiet area and the local law officials came through 2-3 times while we were there, which is great!

The campsite was clean, well maintained, very peaceful and quiet. If you want to get away, be in the woods and nature but not be too far from convenience, perfect place to go. We will definitely go back again.

The bathrooms need repair and remodeled. The showers were nasty with stinky standing water in them. The path leading to the swimming area needs to be safer. Rocks slip and roll and someone is going to fall. Hard to take children and supplies down. And don't like the fact that you have to stay 2 nights now on weekends. Otherwise love horseshoe point been going there for years. All the attendants and park rangers are very very nice and friendly and helpful.

Thank you so much to the Park Attendant Sandra for bearing the large group of us. She is so adorable to explain todo list and taking care of mischievous things done by our kids .Campsites are really good, though they are not riverfront. The temperature is bearable even in the hot summer due to 30 to 40 foot of dense pine cone trees.Kids loved the small beach as it was not really rush may be due to less busy weekend(a week before July 4th). They spent most of their time in the water.A negligible complaint about the bathrooms as not much light during day hours and some of showers were not functioning as expected. Please take care of it.Our group spent most of the time together as mobile signal were very poor for any carrier. Relaxation from busy world and electronics.We love to visit again HorseShoe point .

Very nice campgrounds for relaxing. The 15 water/electric campsites are spaced well and all are shaded and well maintained. Our second stay at this campground in the last 5 years and it still remains a favorite for just relaxing while be surrounded by nature.

They really need some type exhaust fan or ventilation fan in the restrooms.

Campground was lively, bathrooms were cleaned daily, staff were so kind. Lots of shade on site, lake water was refreshing and beaches had just received a new coat of sand on them

We enjoyed Horseshoe Point very much. Our campsite, #2 was a pull through site with views of the water through the beautifully forested landscape. The sites were nicely maintained, spaced away nice distance from the neighbors. We did not fish or use the lake but it was beautiful! Water & Electric was good. Dump station in the campground.

Very quiet with small but adequate campsites. Restrooms and showers were very nice and clean. We had a very knowledgeable and helpful host that did regular patrols thru the park to make sure all was safe!

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful time we had at Horseshoe Point! We arrived early and the guard at the gatehouse was so nice and let us go on in and setup. The site was clean and very roomy, conveniently located right across from the bath house (which is also spotless), and just a short walk to the little beach area. We can't wait to return!

Have been camping at horseshoe point for years and years love the campground and the clean water and the lack of boats and they other campers. But you need to fix the showers tired of trying to keep everything dry. Need more space and an extra room to dry off and dress.

Majority of roads inside campground are steep, narrow, with sharp angled turns. Due to near lake activities. many vehicles / boat trailers parked beyond their camp site boundaries. July 4th fireworks were loud and clear well late into the night. Prepare for additional leveling as most sites are noticeably uneven.

We pulled in late after driving 6 hours to get there. The reservation showed the pull through space would accommodate a 36 foot trailer. When we got there, we could see it was tight, but it definitely didnt fit our 30 foot trailer. My hubs almost damaged his truck by coming with in centimeters of going off some of the railroad ties lining the space. Maybe an airstream or something without slides might stand a chance of getting a better start at it, but if you have slides, even if you get into site #1 you wont have space to use them.Leaving was probably the scariest drive my hubs and I ever made with the trailer. Not being familiar with the campground and just following what seemed to be the easiest path out of the park without jack knife turning. We went through the smallest road with such a tight turn by the tent camping area that we felt our trailer trying to go off the edge. Its only by the grace of God we still have our truck and trailer. Even if we werent supposed to go that way, its easy to see how someone might accidentally go that path and its definitely not safe for anything other than maybe a tear drop, if that.Im sure the campground is nice, the people running it are nice, they did refund us right away, but the risk factor of being there at all with a 30 foot trailer and driving all that way to not fit into a space we were supposed to fit in was incredibly inconvenient and disappointing.I would have love to visit the lake. It looked so beautiful in the dusk light, but there was just no way.Im going to say nothing over 22 feet to fit comfortably.

Quiet, remote campground. Good privacy. We didn't use the facilities, but there seemed adequate bathrooms with showers. The dump station is on a bit of a hill, so I didn't try to use it since the slope would keep things from running to the drain.I would pay close attention to the recommended vehicle length. We were in a 26 foot site with a 25 foot trailer. We just got in and it took some maneuvering. Folks next to us tried and failed since there unit was a little too big and they had too little patience.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado
