Broken Arrow Campground is located in the Diamond Lake Ranger District, Umpqua National Forest (1 hr 36 min east of Roseburg, OR) with an elevation of 5,253 feet. There are a total of 188 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid June to the beginning of September. 103 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 72 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Fees range from $15.00 to $95.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, flush toilets. Activities include biking, hiking trails.

Close to Crater Lake and several others. Diamond Lake Resort almost always has some kind of public activity as well.

Campsite was clean, the womens bathroom was well maintained but the mens was pretty gross and smelly. Showers were very clean. Not much privacy as there isnt much low ground cover, just very tall trees. Campground was very quiet though. Overall a nice stay.

We have been going to Diamond Lake for more than 40 summers and Broken Arrow is our go to spot. We very much appreciate the new camp hosts who have been there the past two summers. The campground is clean and well managed. The showers and restrooms are clean and well kept, the best in years. Being able to enjoy this campground means a great deal to us. The Forest Service is very fortunate to have such capable people managing the campground and we look forward to many more years of enjoyment.

Big campsites and quiet! Quick drive to Crater Lake and the Diamond Lake day use area.

We stayed in j11 while looking for a last minute campground close to crater lake. J11 was the only one available. It was close to the bathrooms and had a large camping spot. Some complaints were 1. No firewood for sale (they had it at the pizza place down the road). 2. We only saw the host once as we were packing up to leave on the final day (this was frustrating since we were actively trying to find them every day. 3. Loud neighbors up late and their noisy/rude kids early in the morning they were not watching. 4. WASPS!! Be sure to bring wasp traps or something. It was outrageous. In the water taps, everywhere. We did not realize it until the last day but our site was super close to a bike path that takes you right to diamond lake. We would have used that a ton. If you have kids, definitely bring scooters or bikes! Overall very happy with finding a campsite. Wish the camp host was more helpful (or that they were easier to find). Little to no phone service at this campground. Bathrooms were okay. Bring soap for the bathroom.

We try and make it to Broken Arrow twice a year. Camp sites are always clean and restrooms are clean.

Bathrooms are filthy and never cleaned during our stay. Signs for donation to pay the camp host yo clean but shouldn't that be expected of the host since they get their site for free and I had to pay for mine. No soap in bathrooms either.

This is my second time camping in this campground and I love it! It's so quiet and has nice amenities like flushing toilets and sinks in the bathrooms. I even saw signs that pointed to showers but I didn't use those so I don't know how they are. The campground is walking distance from the diamond lake boat ramp and a short drive to the resort if you need to pick up some basics from the little convenience store. We went to crater lake one of the days we were there and it was only a 10 minute drive, although maps was saying it was an hour away for some reason. There also is some places in the campground where we had cell service which was convenient because we had an emergency and needed to get ahold of some family. The one con I had was that the bugs here are relentless, they couldn't care less about bug spray or citronella, however that didn't bother us all too much. Overall I strongly recommend this campground to anyone wanting to come visit the area!

Great campground, super pretty, off the water but kind of liked that. Right on the trail, nice bathrooms and hot showers. Loved it!

The restrooms were in a bad condition. The ghost was no where to be found when checking in. The quality has gone down in past few years

Spacious campsites (about 1/3 acre each) with lots of shade trees. Very little undergrowth so not much privacy. Frequent water faucets so we did not have to walk all the way to the restrooms for water. Nice restrooms, but as all to frequent, the shower floors were puddled with water, even in the changing area. Nice that the showers did NOT require quarters for hot water. Far from the highway and very quiet at night.

Camp host was nice. Our spot was well maintained and the bathrooms were in good condition, no soap dispensers though so thats my only complaint.

Loved this campground! Very convenient location to Carter lake and other ones around. Had very clean showers and restrooms. The host was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this location!
