Lots of chipmunks that arent afraid to come right up to you so secure your food well. Cute spot, pretty primitive, but had vault toilets and is right on diamond lake which was beautiful! The spots are spacious and semi private.

My reserved spot was next to the camp host and I was a little worried because I had a gaggle of teenagers with me. He was very understanding and pulled the reigns in when he needed to in a very nice way. Great experience and great host!

The site was clean and it also had enough space in between camp sites.

This was an amazing camp. My friend and I wanted to camp here so we could spend the day at Crater Lake and it worked out really well. There was tons of space in between my camp and others. There was not a single issue I can think of. The views and trees were both so beautiful. There was also 5G for my Verizon phone, which was surprising, I highly recommend it!

Love the quietness and spaciousness of the sites at this campground! Our only suggestion is that we missed not meeting the hosts. The never came by even to wave or say hi during our stay. We enjoyed meeting the hosts from our previous stays, but this time they were pretty much hermits.

Its a fantastic area overall. I was there over a weekend however the camp host wasnt there on F, S, Sun and the part of MondY I was still there. I had questions, but alas! And the toilet paper closest to us ran out by the evening and not replaced til sometime late morning g. Note to self; bring additional toilet paper .

Thieslen View is the Best! Spacious campsites with good access to the lakefront for swimming with a sandy bottom. There was plenty of small wood on the forest floor, we didn't have to buy or bring any for our nightly fires. The Diamond lake bike loop had easy access from the campground and provided a fun day trip to the resort/store. Was a great base camp for a day trip to Crater lake, waterfall hikes down Hwy 138 or nearby mountain hikes, the fishing was easy and the ones we caught we big and fought really well. The pit toilets were kept clean and well stocked with TP.

Best campground in Oregon! I always look forward to going there every July. I really enjoy fishing at Diamond Lake, the resort is clean and accessible, and the lake is fantastic for swimming.

I like the location but would have like to have had a sink or shower. Other than that everything was great

Thielsen View Campground is a truly beautiful campground on the shores of Diamond Lake. It's near Crater Lake National Park, and the drive around the lake is great. On the down-side, there are no hook-ups for RVs, and a total absence of garbage bins. Mosquitos are legion, so don't forget your Deep Woods Off!

Generators running all day long, dogs left alone to bark and whine without supervision. Not the camping experience we expected. If people want to run a generator so they can stay in the RV and play vidio games why not just stay home in my opinion. If your looking for a quiet stay to enjoy nature this camp ground is NOT what you are looking for.

Great place to stay for fishing Diamond Lake and for biking and hiking

Was sad that we had to wait 2 hours for the campground to open on the 19th, but other than that we had the best campground there and the fishing was excellent! Love that place!

Quiet, out of the way. Outstanding scenery. Clean campground. Plenty of room between sites, yet close enough for friends to get together. Friendly camp hosts. We always enjoy our stay here.

We have utilized this (once) beautiful campground many times over the years. Our past trip (August 2024) was a real disappointment. Trees had been cut down or had fallen with very little cleanup at the lakeside. We kayak, bike, and hike and the shoreline provided very little access to the campground due to the trees left. Hopefully next year when we visit, there will be much clean up done. In addition, we thought we were lucky to find a camp spot in August and quickly reserved it, but when we got there, about 80% of the park was empty through the entire summer weekend with reserve signs at each and no occupants. Why can't this system be improved? We could have had any other campsite because they are not updated from the online environment. A new system for cancelations is definitely needed.

We love to come here. The campgound is quiet and well maintained. I like to fish from my kayak and this is a good place for that. The lake is usually windy in the afternoons, but the mornings are typically calm which makes for good kayaking. It's a very popular campground so plan on making a reservation early in the year.

The Good: Excellent location with a great view of Mt. Thielsen and incredible proximity to Diamond Lake. Very well maintained campground with easy to navigate routes, a fair a mount of trench bathrooms, and plenty of shade from the trees. The campsites are well spaced and allow for interaction with neighbors while still maintaining your privacy. Each campsite could easily accommodate up to three tents.The Bad: Mosquitos, mosquitos, mosquitos!!! The amount of insects and mosquitos specifically is almost unbearable. Myself and my partner were littered with bites even after using the strongest repellent (98.11% Deet) that we could buy. There are also an innumerable amount of gnats. The site lacks showers facilities as well.Verdict: I would choose Diamond Lake or Broken Arrow campground if I were to return to this area.

Camp host was awesome and its a great area but we wont be back. We could barely stand to be outside due to the mosquitoes. We had no idea they would be so bad. I counted 30 welts on my legs and I had long pants on. Our dog got bit too and had three bumps on her face. We had all the mosquito repellents activated as well. If you go, make sure to bring a mosquito net!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
